10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Session A (1 State / CMCA Credit) I-70 Expansion

*This session will discuss CDOTs plans to reconstruct a 10-mile segment of I-70 E in central Denver. Known as the Central 70 Project, this project will bring the first safety and mobility improvements to I-70 East while also transforming a 60's era viaduct into a below grade interstate partially covered with a 4-acre community park. After over a decade of planning and community outreach, construction will begin in summer of 2018 and conclude in 2022.

2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Session B (1 State / CMCA Credit) Hyperloop

*Hyperloop Transportation is a new and innovative way to reduce traffic congestion and drastically improve time savings of passengers and goods travelling between Denver and Colorado Springs in comparison to other forms of transportation. Plans to expand this transportation model to Fort Collins, Cheyenne, Pueblo and into the mountain corridor is built into the long-term model and will change not only how people travel in Colorado, but how our state will look in the future.
